Frederick, Maryland - Trevor Joseph Kidwell, 30, unexpectedly passed on December 30, 2023, as a result of a tragic accident while crossing the road near his home. He leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and adventure.
Born on June 12, 1993, in Gaithersburg, MD, Trevor was the adored son of Bruce and Theresa (Shreffler) Kidwell. He grew up in Germantown, Maryland, attended Damascus High School, and loved sports, particularly playing football and lacrosse in his youth. After graduating, Trevor pursued a degree in horticulture at Montgomery College.
Trevor was a fun-loving and generous soul who approached life with an adventurous spirit. He was known for his optimistic outlook, hardworking nature, and kindness that touched the lives of all who knew him. Whether it was a daring adventure or lending a helping hand, Trevor was always ready to embrace life to the fullest.
A thrill seeker and lover of nature, Trevor was constantly in search of new places and experiences; he enjoyed fishing, spending time at the beach, riding motorcycles, snow. boarding, and found simple pleasure in everything he did. Trevor made each moment a good story and a cherished memory for those he was with.
Trevor is survived by his parents, Bruce and Theresa (Shreffler) Kidwell, his sister Jena Kidwell (brother-in-law Matt Melton) and nephew Peyton Melton, his sister Hilary (Kidwell) Fennessy (brother-in-law John Fennessy) and niece Sophie Fennessy. He will be deeply missed by his extended family including aunts, uncles and cousins, his girlfriend, Amanda Sheetz, and many, many friends and loved ones.
While mourning his loss, the family finds comfort in knowing Trevor is reunited with his late brother, Brent Kidwell, and his grandparents, Ralph and Debbie Kidwell, and Donald and Jean Shreffler in heaven.
Trevor Joseph Kidwell's passing leaves a heartbreaking void, but his spirit and the memories he created will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of being a part of his journey.
