Sue’s love for many years was working with the pony/horse camp programs through the Western PA United Methodist church. She was a graduate of Johnstown Vo-tech, attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, and later graduated from Clarion University. Sue began her law enforcement career in Pennsylvania and moved to Maryland where she continued her career with the Montgomery County Department of Corrections where she retired from. She later served as the Commanding Officer of the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Pathfinders Division of Frederick. Her daughter being part of program for many years gave them time together. Lately her passion has been spending time with her granddaughter, Kayleigh. Kayleigh will miss you so much, as will the rest of us.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be given to the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps. The family would also like to thank the Germantown Holy Cross ICU unit and the Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home of Damascus.
A Celebration of Sue’s Life will take place on April 30, 2023, from 1-4 at the American Legion; 801 Prospect Road, Mt Airy MD 21771. Come look at some great pictures and share a few stories you may have of Sue with her family.
