Steven (Steve) R. Sokol

Steven (Steve) Robert Sokol of Gaithersburg, MD passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the age of 59. 

He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Carol Kay Sokol, daughter Sarah N. Sokol, son Timothy W. Malone, daughter-in-law Angie Malone, three grandchildren: Jackson, Logen and Samantha Malone, four siblings: Katherine Romain, Valerie Mrak, George Sokol and Lynette Kukowski, and several nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents John and Barbara Sokol of Caro, MI, and his father and mother-in-law Bob and Carolyn Malone of Rockville, MD. 

Steve will not have a burial service so the family requests that you omit flowers and please donate to the wounded warriors project in Steve’s name.

Viewings will be held on Wednesday July 5th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872 with a eulogy service at 7:30 p.m.
