John Vincent Obituary

John Thomas Vincent, 81, of Jane Lew, West Virginia, died Saturday, March 23, 2024, at The Gardens at Gettysburg.

John was born in West Virginia, the eldest son of Floyd and Lillie Vincent. He resided in Damascus with his family for many years before moving back to his home state.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda J. (Hager) Vincent, his parents, and two brothers. John is survived by his daughters Joy Snouffer & Cindy Collier and their spouses, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, two brothers and their spouses, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

John worked as a machinist and quality control inspector for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, collecting firearms, hunting, and spending time outdoors. John was also an animal-lover. He enjoyed listening to country music and watching western movies.

The funeral service will be at 11am on Tuesday, April 9, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road in Damascus. The family will receive visitors from 10am-11am. A private luncheon for family only will follow interment, in Montgomery Methodist Cemetery, Damasus, Md.
