Jeanine Marie Reyes was born July 11,1968 to parents Frederick A and Helen M Reyes in Plainview, New York. In 1975 her family moved to her current home in Damascus, Maryland. Jeanine graduated from Damascus High School and got her bachelor's degree from Towson State University.
Jeanine was a kind and loving person who enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She especially enjoyed time with her goddaughter Christine, best friends Susie and Kristi, and her great niece Finley. Jeanine enjoyed many trips to New York and Detroit to visit family and her favorite place to visit was the beach.
For 10+ years Jeanine battled multiple health issues without complaint. She spent the last few years assisting her mother Helen who had recently passed away from Parkinson's disease. In her last few days, Jeanine enjoyed many visits from family and friends and would have it no other way.
She had a strong faith and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church for 49 years. Jeanine prayed everyday. She kept every mass card from loved ones in her prayer book. It was important to her that she kept the spiritual ritual that was passed on from her grandmother. Faith, Love and Kindness was Jeanine's passion.
Jeanine is preceded in death by her parents Frederick A. and Helen M. Reyes, grandparents Robert and Catherine Smith, and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her brother Fred (Kris) Reyes, her aunt Eileen O’Connor, and many cousins.
Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, January 15, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland.
