HAROLD RODGERS OBITUARY

Harold Gregory Rodgers Sr., also known as Hank, passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 80 in Mount Airy, Maryland. He was born on June 7, 1942, in Canton, Ohio. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Hank was survived by his wife, Marsha Rodgers, his son Richard Rodgers, his son Sean Rodgers, his daughter Deidra Hendrickson, his brother Don Rodgers, his sister Sandra Barnett, 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren (and 1 on the way), and his fur babies Shadow and Dusty. He was preceded in death by his father Roy Rodgers, his mother Margaret Rodgers, his brother Roy Rodgers, his brother Tom Rodgers, his brother Wayne Rodgers, his sister Roseanne Fletcher, and his son Greg Rodgers.

Hank served in the US Navy for 20 years, including 5 tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the Navy, he worked as an Engineer at Vitro Labs in the 90s before retiring permanently. In his early years, Hank enjoyed playing golf, going to drawdowns, seeing friends at the Woodsboro Legion, and spending many Sundays watching football with the family.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home in Damascus, MD. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the same location.

( Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery a later date and time.)
