Francis Kisner Obituary

Mr. Francis John Kisner (Sonny) 92, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024. He was the husband of Marie Kisner.

Sonny was a machinist at Fairchild located in Germantown Md for many years and retired in 1994.
Born May 21, 1931, in Rockville Md., he was the son of the late John Henry and Nellie Amanda Kisner.

Mr. Kisner loved playing golf, hunting, duck pin bowling and fishing. In his younger days he was an avid dirt track
racer.

Surviving are three children Joan Wimer husband Larry of Elizabethtown Pa, Susan Thompson husband Mike of Clearville Pa and Johnny Kisner wife Trish of Sharpsburg Md. Also, five stepchildren Tina Veith husband Tony of Mt. Airy, Alana Moxley of Frederick Md, Mark Moxley wife Lorraine of Mt Airy, Jay Moxley wife Mischell of Hagerstown Md and Doug Moxley wife Lori of Hagerstown Md. Plus multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grand-children.

 Two brothers, Charles Kisner of Petersburg, WV, and Michael Kisner of Mapleville Md, one sister, Nancy Fisher of Petersburg,WV.

 He is preceded in death by brothers Carl Kisner, Robert Kisner and sister May Davis.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday March 26 at Montgomery Methodist Cemetery located at the intersection of Rt.27 and Rt.80 Damascus, MD.
