Dorothy D. Norwood

We are sad to announce that on February 11. 2024 we had to say goodbye to Dottie Norwood, 88, of Mt. Airy, MD. She was preceded in death by her parents Stella and Tally Merica, her husband Donald Norwood, Sr., and her siblings Junior, Clarence, Gene, Marge and Wayne. She leaves behind her children, Janice Elam, Lori Tabler, and Donald Norwood Jr., five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as her companion of many years Harold Hoffman.

Visitation will be held at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, MD., on Monday, February 19th from 10-11:30am followed by a funeral service at 11:30am. A graveside service will be held immediately after in Pine Grove Cemetery, 711 S Main St. Mt. Airy, MD.

Following services all are invited to gather for lunch and community at Mt. Airy VFW Post 10067, 107 S Main St., Mt. Airy, MD. [ring bell for entry].
