Dean Randall Nixon, 83 of Mt. Airy, MD, born on July 13, 1938, in Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at home per his wishes on January 15, 2022. 

He was married to his lovely wife Marie, who shared 60 years together traveling around the US visiting their 4 kids, 6 granddaughters, and 2 great grandsons. 

Dean is survived by wife Marie, brother Gordon of Attleboro, MA, sons Dean, Jr. of Harpers Ferry, WV, Douglas and wife (Cherish) of Libby, MT, daughters Lisa and husband (Rick) of Mt. Airy, MD, and Cynthia of Colorado Springs, CO, his much loved 6 granddaughters Tiffany (Eric Bolyard), Krystal (Sean McHenka), Nicole, Victoria, Jaymee, Haylee, and 2 incredible grandsons Dodge and Shane.  He is preceded in death by brother Robert Nixon of Attleboro, MA. 

A service-gathering will be held Saturday  May 7, 2022, at 3pm at 13959 Unionville Road, Mt. Airy, MD.
