Alvie S. Price, Jr.

Alvie Sylvester Price, Jr., age 72, of Damascus, Md.,  died Monday, October 16, 2023 at Holy Cross Hospital, Germantown, Md. He was born November 30,1950, a son of Catherine Lee Price and Alvie Sylvester Price.

 He is survived by the following: Wife; Sharon Diane Price. Children; Kandice Adrianna Price and Michael Allen Price. Brothers: Douglas Lee Price and Michael James Price. 

Alvie was very loved by his Goddaughter Jennifer Nicole Raymond. Godsons Dema Price and Christopher Price along with Niece Rachel Price. Alvie had over 200 nieces and nephew’s total. He may not have remembered all their names, but he never loved them any different or less. 

He attended grade school through some years of college in the state of Maryland. Alvie would do anything for his family and was a family man. Even for those he didn't know he never was unkind, whether it may be trying to make a baby laugh or let someone go in front of him for groceries that is who he was. Alive may have been a quiet person but when he spoke everyone listened. As Alvie waits patiently, he has his arms ready for his loved ones.

Friends may call 6-8 on Thursday, October 26, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 27, at the funeral home.  Interment will be private.
