Robert Francis Harlow Sr., 82, of Rockville, Maryland passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017. He was the beloved husband Opal Harlow his wife of 63 years.

Born January 10, 1935 in Washington D.C., he was a son of the late Milton P and Marian Tolbert Harlow.

Robert Served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1955. He was employed by Muth Brothers, and for the last 34 years of his career he was self- employed.  He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed spending weekends fishing with his family.  Robert was a Life Member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Surviving besides his wife Opal are 6 children:  Janet Seabolt and husband Cotton; Robert Harlow Jr.; Deborah Cogswell and husband Tony; Dale Harlow and wife Brenda; Anna Harlow and friend Mark; and Steven Harlow and wife Ana Maria.  Fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and three sisters Mary Ann Elyard, Kathleen Blomberg and her husband Maurice and Linda Hultengren and her husband Larry.

Besides his parents Robert is preceded in death by two brothers Milton Patrick Harlow and Charles Michael Harlow, Sr.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, at Molesworth-Williams P.A. Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday December 28 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, Maryland
