Richard L. Dorsey

Richard Leon Dorsey, Sr., age 75, of Mt. Airy, MD passed away on Sunday February 4th, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Sylvester Dorsey and Edna Marie Dorsey.

He leaves to mourn a loving wife Clara L. Dorsey, two sons Robert Dorsey and wife Dina Dorsey, Richard Leon Dorsey Jr and fiance Barbara Heffner. two grandchildren Robert Dorsey Jr and Iesha Dorsey, five step grandchildren, Godchildren Rosalyn Layer and Deontae Swingler, Godsister Ann Kelly. four sisters in law: Erma Prather, Faith Stanton, Dorothy Butler, Bertha Stanton, one brother in law Johnny Watts a devoted cousin Betty Dorsey and devoted friends Bill and Enda Hall and Harvey Myers, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Service will be held on Monday February 12th at Molesworth-Williams P A Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus MD. 20872. Viewing will be from 9-11am. Service will begin at 11:00. Repast will be at Simpson United Methodist Church, 16901 Hardy Rd., Mt. Airy.
