Louise K. Williams

Mrs. Louise K. Williams, known as Lucy, age 88 of Brookeville, MD peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 with family by her side at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center of Olney, MD.

She was born on August 19, 1929 in Potomac, MD.  She was the daughter of the late Joshua and Thelma Lynch.   She was youngest sister to the late Virginia Shifflett and Sue Snoots.

She was the loving wife of her late husband Jack M. Williams of 64 years.  Devoted mother to daughters Cherie L. Tessier (Tutti) and her husband Thomas Tessier and Shirley J. Gregg and friend Andrew Donaldson.   Grandmother to Katie Tessier and fiance Greg Blades, Tyler Tessier, Kristy Mannix and her husband Marty Mannix, Kimberly Lechlider and her husband David Lechlider and Kasey Hyre and her husband Alex Hyre.  Great grandmother to Colton McKenna, Maddison, Knox and Kemper Mannix, and Sadie and Trent Lechlider.

Lucy was strong in her love for our Lord, Jesus Christ and Savior and she was deeply devoted to her family.  She worked as an Office Manager for a Dermatology practice for over 19 years.  Always a homemaker that loved to sew, cook and can.  Lucy enjoyed sharing her garden of vegetables with her neighbors.  Had a tremendous love for flowers and grew many of her own.  Loved flower arranging, especially for Sunday morning church services.   Was an avid lover of all animals.   

The family will receive family friends on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. at Molesworth-Williams, P.A., Funeral  Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, MD 20872. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, April 10, 2018, starting at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be after the funeral service at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD.  The family requests any donations to be made to the American Heart Association (heart.org).
