Mrs. Lois Jane Robinson, 80, of Damascus, passed away at her home on December 9, 2017 with her loving family by her side. 

She was the wife of Gene Hudson Robinson.  Born March 12, 1937 in Wythe County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late George Robert, Sr. and Sophia (Tibbs) Brewster.   

In 1957, she married her high school sweetheart Gene.   After the birth of their second child, the family moved to Germantown, MD in 1960.  The family then relocated to Damascus in 1975.  Lois worked for the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD from 1965 to 1977 when she left to have the last of her five children.  She later returned to the workforce as a customer service representative for the Sears store in Lakeforest Mall where she retired after 20 years. Lois was an excellent athlete in her younger years and that passion for sports was passed on to her children and grandchildren who's football, baseball, and softball games she rarely missed until health issues forced her to cut back.

She was predeceased by her son James Lee Robinson, 33, in 1991. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include daughters Susan Lynn Robinson of Woodbridge, VA and Jennifer A. Coleman of Damascus as well as sons Barry G. Robinson (Lesley) of Monrovia and Michael G. Robinson (Christina) of Frederick.  Also surviving are grandchildren Jason W. Robinson, Krystal N. Robinson, Richard C. Robinson, Lindsey L. Robinson, Hannah L. Robinson, Dallas J. Robinson, Cheyenne T. Coleman, and McKayla J. Coleman as well as great grandchildren Taryn Robinson-Smith, Nolan Robinson-Smith, Amiaya B. Robinson, and AnneMarie B. Robinson.

        The family will receive friends at the Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, MD on Friday, December 15 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD.
