June E. Gue

June Elaine Gue passed away, Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the age of 76.  She was born on June 8, 1943 in Etchison, MD a daughter of the late Otis C. Norwood, Sr. & Almeda Hilton Norwood.

 She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Ronald W Gue.  She is survived by her son, Ronald W Gue & wife Jennifer of Mount Airy and daughter Laura L Grimes of Damascus.  Also surviving are granddaughters Victoria L Grimes & Amy N Grimes of Damascus and her Step Grandson, Richard Heflin of Mount Airy as well as Sisters-in-law, Marsha Rodgers and husband Hank and Lisa Harris and husband Steve of Mount Airy.

June was a stay at home Mom until both of her children graduated from High School.  She also helped Ron with their painting business during that time.  Soon after she began her employment with Montgomery County Public Schools until her retirement in June 2006.

June traveled all of the 48 contiguous states as well as Canada from Nova Scotia to British Columbia on Harley Davidson Motorcycles.  During their travels had many good times as well as met many good friends. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Kline Hospice House for their wonderful care during her last days as well as the staff of Frederick Memorial Hospital.  We would also like to thank the caring staff at Lorien of Mt. Airy for the care and compassion that they provided since November of last year.

Friends may call 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Monday, October 14, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, at the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Damascus Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kline Hospice House (7000 Kimmel Road, Mount Airy, MD 21771) or the Damascus United Methodist Cemetery Fund ((700 New Church St, Damascus, MD  20872) in her name.
