I remember Edgar from our teen years in Glen Echo, MD. Edgar was my first date, we would take the trolley from Glen Echo to DC to the movies. I will always have good memories of Edgar.

Cathy: in reviewing Ed's obituary I notice your entry. I have wondered over the years where you and Bud ended up in the US. I live with my son Chris and his family in Damascus MD. I have reached the ripe age of 81 this October. Getting old stinks. Ed moved in with us in April 2017. He had prostate cancer for years but it mestastized to his bones. We nursed him with Hospice Care for the remaining months - his health deteriorated rapidly. We have his little pup Kayla who is doing OK. Let me hear from you. Liz

I loved the way Pop Pop made me feel so special every time I saw him. He nicknamed me "Lady Marian" and that will always make me smile when I think of him. He was a wonderful man. My prays and condolences to his family.

Edgar and I were best friends during our childhood and he was my best man for my wedding at Denton, MD on June 30 1956. I talked to him on the phone about two weeks ago and he told me how bad he was having with cancer. We were hoping he would be able to get down to see us in Fl before the cancer got too bad,
After HS I entered the CG and retired after 42yrs 3mo 19dys so we didn't get to see one another.

Ed was our step-grandfather. He married our Nana after her first husband had passed for a number of years. To date, Ed was the nicest man I have ever met. He genuinely cared for me and the the other members of my family. I will always remember this and his ability to fix almost anything. Praying for comfort for his sons Michael and Chris, his sister Jane, and his grandchildren Olivia and Alex.
