Cheryl A. Newman

Cheryl Ann Newman, formerly of Damascus, Maryland, passed away  Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the age of 56. Born January 18, 1962 in Olney, MD. She was a daughter of the late, Everett and Billie Newman.

 She is survived by a brother Rick Newman, three sisters Gloria Briggs (Fred), Christine Farrell and Betty Peck, sister- in- law Tammy Newman; nieces Tiffany Newman and Marley Wilkinson (Jamie) and nephews Shawn Peck, Jason Farrell and Colby Newman. Great nephews James Wilkinson, Matthew Peck and great niece Elizabeth Peck and many other relatives and friends.

  She is preceded in death by her brother Richard Newman; brother-in-law Danny Farrell; and nephew Joe Briggs .

Friends may call on Monday, April 16th from 11:00am until services begin at 12:00 noon, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Rd., Damascus, MD 20872.  Burial will immediately follow in Mountain View United Methodist Church, 11501 Mountain View Rd., Damascus, MD 20872

The family would like to thank the staff at Glade Valley Nursing Home for all the great care they gave Cheryl while she was there.
