Margaret V. Betteker, 85, of Monrovia, MD, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017, at Glade Valley Center in Walkersville, MD.Margaret was the daughter of the late Harry and Effie Lee and the wife of the late Robert (Bob) Betteker to whom she was married for 55 years.

Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She loved flowers and working outside. She also enjoyed family get togethers whenever possible. She was a quiet but strong woman. She was an avid fan of Charlestown and loved playing the slot machines.

She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her children Barbara Keith (Tom); Carolyn Abedrabbo (Anwar); Robert, Jr . (Hattie); Terry Paskey (Jeff); Donald; and William (Theresa)

.In addition to her children, she is survived by ten grandchildren; Bonita Keith (Rick); Todd Keith; Emily Hasslocher (Ellen); Rob Betteker (Stephanie); Brian Betteker; P.J. Maillis; Troy Maillis (Kris); Christopher Maillis (Raine); Katina Rees (Chris); Lindsey.  Also by nine great grandchildren; Danielle and Melissa Eyler; Jesse Sidebottom; Austin (Emmy), Cody and Dustin Keith; Evan and Ellie May Wetzel; Bailey Betteker; and one great great grandson, Caleb Christian.She is also survived by sisters Dorothy Cowan; Ruby Hood (Bob); Betty Abbott; Ethel Collier; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased in death by her brother, Mervin Lee; and sisters, Mary Mobley and Emma James.

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Glade Valley Center of Walkersville for their  dedication  and care during  her time  with them.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be at a later date. Interment will be private.
