John Ramson Staub, 75, of Damascus, MD, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Holy Cross Hospital Germantown. Born March 30, 1942 in Thurston, MD., he was a son of the late Luther F. and Margaret A. Gue Staub. He is survived by brothers and sisters: Luther and wife Beverly; Edmund, Barbara, Jerry, Nancy and Robert and wife Edna. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. In place of a funeral, a memorial service will be held on 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 9th at Salem United Methodist Church, 23725 Ridge Road, Germantown, Maryland  20876 .
