Janet Darlene Guynn-Kendall, 67, of Damascus, Maryland, died Sunday October 8, 2017 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville, Maryland.  She was the beloved wife of Rick Kendall.

Born May 8, 1950 in Bethesda, she was a daughter of the late John C. Tibbs and Helen V. Jenkins Calloway.

Janet was a 42 year veteran of Hughes Network Corporation.  She was a member of Moose Lodge 347 in Frederick, and she loved playing Bingo and Gambling.

Surviving besides her husband Rick, are three children:  Cheryl Gregory, of Clarksburg; Tina Bostic and companion Red Hamrick, of Damascus; and Veronica Ward and husband Lester of Damascus.  Five grandchildren Ricky & Scott Gregory, Jon, Bailey and Miss “Em” Ward. A sister Pamela Tibbs; a brother Billy Calloway; and a special friend Mary Brooke.

She is preceded in death by a brother Larry Wayne Tibbs and a sister Nancy Arlene Tibbs, and two dear friends Carol Spriggs and Connie Schooley.

Friends may call 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Friday October 20, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus, Maryland 20872.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21 at the funeral home.  Rev. Franklin Bishop will officiate.  Interment will be in Laytonsville Cemetery.  

Following the services at the cemetery there will be a gathering of family and friends at the Difference Makers Church 11210 Bethesda Church Road Damascus, Maryland 20872
