Dear Al,

I was so sorry to read Diane's obituary in the Post. Her warmth and strength supported many people, including Hugh and me. She was always so wonderful!

May your many memories of her and your happy times together become a blessing to you and your family. Please accept my sincere condolences, Joan

It is with heavy heart that I write. Diane was my friend for 40 plus years, we worked together for 30 if those years and our children married and we share grandchildren. Diane had the biggest heart. We shared so much over the years that there is not enough room to write. My thoughts and prayers are with Al,Amy,Mike,Karly and Cassie. Diane was that friend who always was there, never passed judgement and when we talked or saw each other, it was like yesterday. So my friend, until we say hello again, I miss you with all my heart. Love, Barb

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family. During this difficult time, God is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit He saves. Psalms 34:18

From the time I was a young girl, this beautiful lady, our neighbor, was one of my mother's closest friends. She was my dear friend too.

For nearly a half century she has blessed me with her good humor, her joy, her kindness, and her Christian witness.

Time after time, from the time I was a young girl, Diane and her husband Al, were there for me, and for my family ... in happy times and during some very difficult times.

... hearts are heavy ...

We're going to miss her very much.

With love and prayers for her eternal rest and perfect peace ... and for God's comfort for Al, Amy, Mike, Karly and Cassie

Love, Marianne and John
