Bruce Lee Testerman
June 6, 2017On Tuesday June 6th, 2017 Bruce Lee Testerman of Germantown, MD was called home to Heaven where he was greeted by his loving wife, Genese Testerman who had passed on June 5th, 2013.
Bruce worked construction and carpentry most of his life. A child of the Great Depression, Bruce started working very early in life cutting paper trees in Southwest Virginia. Whitetop Mountain would always be considered down home. Bruce and Genese raised two fine sons and welcomed many more into his home including his brother-in-law Robert Surber. Robert, or Jeral as we knew him, was more like a third son.
He was also greeted in Heaven by those who have passed before him including his parents, Grover and Pearl, brothers Howard Raymond, and Harold, sisters Hazel Hart and Dony Testerman.
Bruce is survived by his children Ed Testerman of Germantown and Larry Testerman of Rockville, MD, daughters-in-law Vickie Testerman and Carolyn Testerman; siblings Sebert Testerman of Whitetop, VA, TA Testerman of Front Royal, VA, and Junior Testerman of Marshal, VA, grandchildren, Jason Fitzgerald, Austin Testerman, and Kristen Testerman. Nieces and nephews galore.
The family will welcome friends to the viewing, Monday June 12th at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home 26401 Ridge Rd Damascus, MD 20872. From 11 a.m. and be followed by the Funeral at 12 noon. Pastor and cousin Earl Taylor will conduct the service.
Interment to follow at All Souls Cemetery, Germantown, MD.
Bruce was a dedicated family man who touched the heart of many people in his 83 years on this Earth. While he lives on forever in Heaven he will be dearly missed here.
